adelina.world ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Adelina Amlinskaya, an independent jewellery designer based in Italy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from adelina.world.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when placing an order: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number. Payment information (card details) is processed securely by Shopify Payments / Stripe — we never store your full card number. We also automatically collect device and browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time zone) via cookies, server log files, and web beacons.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Shopify operates its server infrastructure. Transfers from the EU/EEA to third countries are governed by standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, as detailed in Shopify's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Order and transaction data is retained for 7 years to comply with Italian and EU tax and accounting regulations. Marketing consent records are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months. After applicable retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Security

All payment data is encrypted via TLS/SSL and processed through Shopify's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment infrastructure. We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers or via a notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
