Citrine carries the lightest energy in the Adelina collection: solar, warm, the colour of late afternoon when the light is doing everything right. The stone is pale gold and translucent — it doesn't hold the light so much as release it slowly.
This pendant is set in minimal sterling silver so the citrine can work the way it wants to: openly. Citrine has been worn as a stone of forward movement — at the gem stalls in Jaipur, vendors describe it as a stone for those who are starting something, who want the energy of the sun close during the beginning of a new direction.
Wear it when something is beginning.
Materials. Handmade 925 sterling silver (with a gold-coloured surface coating where indicated) set with genuine natural gemstones. No synthetic or imitation stones. As is standard in the gem trade, some natural stones are routinely treated — for example by heat or irradiation — to enhance or stabilise colour; such treatment is permanent and stable under normal wear.
Gemstone treatment. Citrine — heat treated. Permanent and stable under normal conditions of wear; no special care required.
Care. Keep away from water, perfume and chemicals. Store dry and separately. Polish gently with a soft cloth; clean natural stones by hand only.
Safety. Contains small parts — keep away from children under 3 (choking hazard). Not suitable as a toy.
