Refund policy

1. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers) — 14 days

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or a third party named by you) receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, notify us within that period by an unequivocal statement to orders@adelina.world or by post to Adelina Amlinskaya, Frazione Taena N 5, 52010 Chitignano (AR), Italy. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

Return the goods to the address above without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of notifying us. The goods must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them.

Refund: within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice (subject to the previous sentence), using the same means of payment you used, at no fee to you.

2. Exception: personalised and made-to-order items

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 59(c) Codice del Consumo) — for example custom sizes, engraving and SPECIAL ORDER pieces produced individually at your request. Where this applies, we draw your attention to this exclusion on the product page and at checkout before you place your order. This exception never affects your rights in respect of defective goods (section 4).

3. Returns for all customers — 30 days (incl. USA, Canada & other non-EU countries)

Beyond any statutory rights, we accept returns of non-personalised items for up to 30 days after delivery, under the same conditions (unused, in original condition and packaging). This 30-day return is available to all customers worldwide, including the USA, Canada and other countries outside the EU (where the EU statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply).

You bear the cost of return shipping. Refunds are made to your original payment method once we receive the item back (or you provide proof of return). Any import duties or taxes charged on delivery are set by your local customs and cannot be refunded by us. Custom / made-to-order pieces remain non-returnable (see section 2).

Canadian consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer located in Canada, you may cancel your order within 10 days after receiving a copy of your purchase confirmation (or, if we have not provided the required pre-contract disclosure, at any time within 1 year of purchase) by contacting us at orders@adelina.world. We will refund all amounts paid within 15 days of receiving your cancellation notice, provided the goods are returned in the same condition as received. This cancellation right applies in addition to any other rights you may have under the laws of your province.

For Quebec consumers: your right to cancel under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act applies independently and is not waived by these terms.

4. Defective items — legal guarantee of conformity

EU consumers enjoy a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (statutory guarantee under Directive (EU) 2019/771; D.Lgs. 206/2005 in Italy; §§ 434 ff. BGB in Germany). If an item is defective or not as described, contact us — you are entitled to repair or replacement, and where that fails, a price reduction or refund. Return shipping for defective items is at our cost.

5. Gift cards

Withdrawal applies to unused gift cards within 14 days of purchase. Once a gift card code has been redeemed in whole or in part, the right of withdrawal is extinguished to the extent of the amount used. See our Gift Card Terms for details.
