Iolite has been called the Viking compass stone — navigators used its optical properties to locate the sun on overcast days and find true north. Today it carries the same meaning: clarity of direction when the path is not obvious. A stone for women who trust their inner compass over external noise.

The deep blue-violet of iolite shifts with the angle of light — a phenomenon called pleochroism, where the stone appears blue, violet, or nearly colourless depending on how you hold it. No treatment, no enhancement. Set by hand in 925 sterling silver with an oxidised architectural finish.
